Where We Connect

WHERE

We can either meet in my office or we can connect over a secure, encrypted video platform. I offer online therapy services to clients in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. If we’re meeting remotely, I’ll send you a secure link before our session.

WHEN

I’m available Monday through Thursday. Sessions typically occur weekly. Once we start working together, if you need to cancel your session, send me a text or email, at least 24 hours in advance, in order to avoid being charged for your missed session. I’ll also set you up with a link to my Simple Practice portal. There, you’ll be able to download intake forms and upload your credit card information. You’ll be automatically charged, after each session.

What to Expect in Our Sessions

Initial Intakes are 50-60 minutes. This time is used to get to know each other a bit and to discuss your goals.

Individual Sessions & Couple Sessions are 50+ minutes.

Groups are 90 minutes.

My Approach

How I Work - chairs.jpg

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey and I strive to create a warm and compassionate environment, where you feel heard and understood.

My training encompasses a variety of therapeutic modalities, allowing me to tailor our work together to best meet your unique needs. My fellowship training in Gestalt therapy, is the lens through which I am informed about how to do this work. Here’s a bit more about my approach:

  • Individual Therapy is a collaborative process where you and a I work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. The goal is to help you gain a deeper self-understanding, address challenges and develop strategies that support healing and resilience.

  • EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate distress associated with memories. It involves recalling experiences while engaging in specific eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help process and heal from those memories.

  • Couples Therapy provides a supportive space for two people to deepen understanding, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and IMAGO Therapy, helping couples deepen their connection and resolve conflicts.

  • Group Therapy brings together individuals to share challenges and experiences. It is a place where you can learn from one another and build skills in a supportive and sometimes challenging setting. Group therapy also fosters connection, perspective, and personal growth through shared understanding.

  • Training Groups are for practicing therapists who want to explore the unique challenges of what it’s like to be a therapist, with other therapists. Participants are encouraged to bring in cases with which they’re struggling or need guidance or support.

Payment Information

I understand that navigating insurance can be challenging. As a private practitioner, I am not in-network with any insurance plans, but I’m here to help. If you have out-of-network insurance, I’ll provide you with the necessary paperwork to facilitate reimbursement. Your coverage will depend on your plan’s specifics, including:

  • The percentage covered for out-of-network care

  • Your annual deductible

  • The type of session (Individual Psychotherapy session 90834 or Couples Therapy Session 90847, Groups 90853)

If you don’t have insurance or prefer not to use it, I can provide you with a receipt for accounting purposes or simply for your records.

Let’s take the next step toward healing and growth, together.

I invite you to reach out via phone (212) 873-7449 or email. I’d love to hear about from you and answer any questions you may have about my practice.
